TDC Facilities Self-Assessment Tool. Facilities projects are about vision and risk: the articulation of a new vision for an organization and the calculated, calibrated risks it takes to successfully achieve that vision. Based on our years of experience in the sector, we have learned that many organizations inadvertently put themselves at risk by failing to articulate the vision for the space and what it will achieve for the organization; the steps and timeline for realizing that vision; and the impact the facility will have on the organization post-construction. This self-assessment tool challenges organizations to understand and anticipate the risks of the project by examining these areas in depth.
