Rachel Crocker Ford, Senior Associate, joined TDC in 2010. She has experience in strategic planning, market research, and financial analysis and modeling. She has also contributed research and analysis to TDC's ongoing research on the financial health of the non-profit sector.

Current and recent clients include:

• New-York Historical Society
• Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
• Massachusetts Cultural Council

Prior to joining TDC, Rachel was the manger for policy and program development at Working Today-Freelancers Union, a New York City-based social entrepreneur. Her work there included policy analysis, program development, and advocacy activities in support of updating social safety net programs for freelance and self-employed workers. She has also worked on designing customer service quality improvements at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, the university hospital of Columbia and Cornell.

Rachel holds a BA in Sociology from Reed College and an MBA with a concentration in nonprofit strategy and finance from the Yale School of Management.
